"I wanted
I wanted you to stay
‘Cause I needed
I need to hear you say
That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I forgive you
For being away for far too long
So keep breathing
‘Cause I’m not leaving you anymore
Believe it
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
‘Cause I’m not leaving you anymore
Believe it
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
Hold on to me and, never let me go"…

Would the one I love ever say this to me? *wonders*

What a way to start the New Year… alone.

Welcome to the world, my little nephew! You’re "The Perfect End" to the year 2006, as we’re all blessed with a bundle of joy! I would like to wish Kak Nadia and Abang Justin all the best as they embark on a new chapter in their lives.. and I want you to know that I will always be there for the both of you and my nephew-godson, Ian.. thru baby-sitting sessions, lots of playtime, rides to school and even dentist appointments with Dr. Nooriah… I’ll be there for Ian.. and if I’m not.. we can always train-up Uncle Aris well.. hahaha…

My other half asked me what exactly does a Godmother do.. I was glad to explain that officially, if both parents of the child pass away, then the Godparents are the next guardian in line…

I will have to make sure that things are right in Ian’s life… and I would have to be as involved as possible in his life, share his experiences & give him extra love.. The trust Kak Nadia and Abang Justin have given me.. it’s really touching.

To my special nephew-Godson
Ian Harris Hashim

I was touched when I was asked
to be your Godmother,
a question to which I gladly answered "Yes."
And I’ll ask The Almighty’s blessings for you always,
knowing I’m the one
who’s been so truly blessed!

With Love,
Auntie Hanis
